Yes — the shade is cut from genuine natural alabaster stone, never resin or acrylic. Because it's real stone, each shade has its own veining and slight color variation. That means yours won't look exactly like the photos — and that's the point. It's the mark of a real, one-of-a-kind piece, not a defect.

It's hardwired — it mounts to a standard wall junction box, with no plug or cord showing. If you're comfortable with basic wiring it's straightforward; otherwise any electrician can install it in minutes. Always turn off the power at the breaker first.

No bulb needed — the LED is built in, at a warm 3000K, so there's nothing to buy, fit, or ever replace. It's turned on and off with a push-summary switch and is not dimmable. (Please contact us if you require a dimmable version.)

It gives a soft, ambient glow rather than a bright task light. The light spreads through the stone instead of shining straight out, so there's no harsh spot to catch your eye — it's easy to sit near and look at directly, ideal for a bedside, hallway, or living room.

Each shade is secured in thick, custom-cut foam inside a reinforced box, with the hardware wrapped separately to prevent scratches. If anything does arrive damaged in transit, message us with a photo and we'll make it right — a replacement or refund, no hassle.
