A Low Moon Over Your Table

The plates are cleared, the conversation has slowed, and no one wants to get up yet. You reach over and turn down the light. Above the table, a single disc of stone glows like a low, warm moon — the veining lit softly from within, the room dropping into that easy, golden hush where an evening finally settles. Nobody comments on the fixture. They just... stay a little longer.

That's what this piece is for. By day it's quiet — a pale stone circle resting over the table, sculptural even when it's off. By night it becomes the reason the room feels warm. Fit a dimmable bulb and you can take it from bright, easy dinner light all the way down to a slow, candle-soft glow as the night winds on.

And because the disc is cut from genuine natural alabaster, the cloud-like veining runs right through the stone — the piece over your table exists nowhere else in the world. Framed in warm brass, it's the kind of thing you notice a little more each time you sit beneath it, and never grow tired of.

Yes — each disc is cut from genuine natural alabaster stone, never resin or acrylic. Because it's real stone, every disc has its own veining and slight color variation. That means yours won't look exactly like the photos — and that's the point. It's the mark of a real, one-of-a-kind piece, not a defect.

It takes a standard G9 bulb, so you can fit an LED or a vintage Edison bulb to suit your look. Dimming depends on the bulb: fit a dimmable G9 bulb with a compatible wall dimmer and you'll have full dimming control, from bright dinner light down to a soft evening glow.

It's hardwired to a standard ceiling box and ships with a 150 cm / 59″ wire. For a higher ceiling or stairwell, we can extend the wire — just contact us before ordering and we'll prepare it to your drop.

As a guide, pick a disc about one-half to two-thirds the width of your table, hung so the lowest point sits around 30–36″ above the tabletop. The ∅23.6″ suits most tables for 4–6; go larger for a big table or open room, or choose a Long version for a rectangular table.

We ship natural stone every day, so it's packed to survive the journey. Each disc is secured in thick, custom-cut foam inside a reinforced box, with the hardware wrapped separately to prevent scratches. If anything does arrive damaged in transit, message us with a photo and we'll make it right — a replacement or refund, no hassle.

Wipe both the stone and brass gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, harsh chemicals, and abrasive pads — alabaster is a porous natural stone, so gentle dusting is all it needs to keep its warm character for years.
